Conan Man of Few Words

In the 1982 Conan the Barbarian movie, despite being shown together throughout the entire film, Conan only speaks five (5) words to Valeria in the whole movie. Better yet those five words are all in the first 30 seconds after they meet,

They are "You're not a guard" and "No"

Make it Another Bloody Vodka Bartender

In the 1982 Conan movie a form of concentrated fake blood that had to be mixed with water was used. This fake blood was to be mixed with water, but the weather was so cold special effects personnel mixed it with Vodka to keep it from freezing. In the scenes where the actors were supposed to spit blood, they would instead swallow it and go back to special effects for another shot

Last week, Las Vegas-based Monolith Board Games debuted a crowd funding campaign on Kickstarter. (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/806316071/conan/description) The goal was to raise $80,000.00 for the creation of the new board game and as Conan will do that goal was crushed! Within eight days the project is presently sitting at just over $1.5 million dollars and as of the date of this writing there are still 9 more days to go!

Conan is a miniature-based game pitting one player, the overlord, who controls hordes of savage tribesmen, no-good lowlifes and undead minions against 1 to 4 players who incarnate the legendary Conan and his fellow adventurers. The game-play is asymetric, as the overlord possesses a large selection of models and objectives which are his own, whereas the brave heroes are played from a first person perspective, mush like in a role playing game. An adventure can be played out in 1 hour on one of the beautiful game boards (depicting iconic locations of Howard's immersive Hyborian world) as you pit your wits, daring and tactical acumen against your opponents.

It appears as this game will retail for around $90.00 - $100.00.

Age of Conan Unchained

I really enjoy this game, though I've not progressed very far in level. The best part for me is to be able to walk around and experience Hyboria in firt person.

The art is amazing and the story line is great too.
